About Athena Gold
We are a junior exploration company hunting for high-grade gold in North America’s most prolific mining camps. Our flagship Laird Lake project in Ontario’s Red Lake Gold District covers more than 7,000 hectares along over 10 km of the Balmer-Confederation Assemblage contact. Our 2026 maiden drill program made a near-surface grassroots discovery, the Scooby Zone, returning 23.85 g/t Au over 5 m from 21 m downhole. The zone remains open, and a ~10,000-metre follow-up program is planned. The road-accessible project sits about 10 km west of West Red Lake Gold’s Madsen mine and 34 km northwest of Kinross Gold’s Great Bear project. We also hold the 14,930-hectare Forester project near the Musselwhite Gold Mine in northwestern Ontario.
In Nevada’s Walker Lane Trend, our 2,500+ hectare Excelsior Springs project is being advanced by Mammoth Minerals under an 80% earn-in, with Athena carried through to a Definitive Feasibility Study. We leverage the latest exploration technologies and strong technical expertise to systematically de-risk our projects and produce cost-efficient discoveries.
